The International Evaluation and Certification Center (IECC) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity in all aspects of our operations. This Code of Ethics establishes the fundamental principles and standards of conduct that guide our organization, staff, evaluators, committee members, and all stakeholders.
All IECC members, certified professionals, accredited organizations, and partners are expected to uphold these ethical principles and conduct themselves in accordance with this code.

We protect the privacy and confidential information of all applicants, members, and organizations.
We maintain independence from pressures that could compromise objectivity in decisions.

We maintain clear processes for appeals, complaints, and continuous improvement.
We treat all individuals and organizations with dignity and respect.
Expected behaviors and responsibilities for all IECC stakeholders
Maintain professional standards in all interactions and uphold the reputation of IECC and the certification profession.
Disclose any potential conflicts of interest and recuse from decisions where impartiality may be compromised.
Adhere to all IECC policies, procedures, and international standards.
Treat all applicants, members, and stakeholders fairly without discrimination.
Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal requirements in all jurisdictions.
Report any observed violations of this Code through appropriate channels without fear of retaliation.
